Trek26 Children of Gaza
Join us in fundraising for Children Not Numbers by taking on the challenge of trekking some of Bosnia's most breathtaking mountains.
August 18th - 25th 2026, we will be trekking in Bosnia to raise money for Children Not Numbers, a charity dedicated to the children of Gaza.
To join you will be expected to raise a minimum of £1000. Each participant will have their own unique fundraising link and will receive support to do so.
Participants will be responsible for booking their own flights and organising their own insurance.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive in Sarajevo, hotel check-in
Day 2 - Walking tour of the Old Town.
Day 3 - Check-out from hotel, travel to Tušila, where Visočica hike begins (approx 8km, 5-6 hours). Drive to Konjic, hotel check-in.
Day 4 - Full-day excursion including Mostar, Kravice Waterfalls, Blagaj Tekke, and the Old Town of Počitelj, before returning to Konjic. (approx. 10 hours).
Day 5 - Prenj Hike (approx. 17 km, 8-9 hours, with an option to stop at around 14km and wait for the group to return).
Day 6 - Check-out and return to Sarajevo with a visit to the Tunnel of Hope Museum on the way. Check-in to hotel in Sarajevo.
Day 7 - Skakavac Waterfall Hike (approx. 5km, 3-4 hours).
Day 8 - Departures.
Important Information
This hike is open to all who are in good health and fitness. The price covers transfers, entrance tickets to mentioned sites, hotels, breakfast, packed lunches for the hikes, professional tour guides and hike guides.
It is your responsibility to ensure your health and fitness is up to meet this challenge, you are recommended to seek medical advice where necessary.
