Our title draws inspiration from Chapter 15 of the Qur'an, Surah al-Hijr, verse 75, where Allah mentions, "In this are signs for the mutawassimin مُتَوَسِّمِينَ" – a word that sparks curiosity and reflection.

In the Quran, the phrase "In this are signs for..." is a common refrain, often followed by descriptions like "the believers," "those who reflect," or "those with knowledge." But "mutawassimun" is a rare gem, appearing only once. It signifies those who actively engage with the Quran, interpreting and striving to understand its profound verses. It's for those who don't merely passively read the Quran but actively immerse themselves in it, finding beauty and grace in its teachings.
The great scholar Al-Tabari explains that mutawassimun are individuals who extract valuable lessons from the Quran's stories, perceiving them with the divine light of Allah. They read between the lines, seeking beauty and grace in its verses. Just as "mutawassim" is linked to "beauty" and "grace," it's also tied to "mawsim," the alternating seasons. This suggests that those who engage deeply with the Quran find its wisdom applicable in all seasons of life.
